Landmarks Commission Meeting: Sonoma County Landmarks Commission met to review Jess Jackson's plan to tear down the Old Stone Barn and build a new winery using the stones as a facade. Commission stated that if Old Stone Barn is determined to be historic, then tearing the barn down to a pile of rocks and reusing those rocks would not be considered acceptable as an historic restoration. Jackson is tasked with providing an historic structures report so that the Commission can determine if the Old Stone Barn is historically significant. |
